Raindrops and Tree - D700, 85mm PC
It’s been raining sooooo much this Spring that sometimes it’s difficult to get outside and take some photographs. I shot this image from the dry comfort of the living room. Two exposures blended in CS5. One of the tree through the window focusing on the tree and one of the tree focusing on the raindrops on the window. A little blending in CS5 and some curves and color adjustments and you have what kind of day it was…moist.

Thanks Betsy, it was fun to do and YES INDEED everything is VERY GREEN. I wanted to go up to the mountains today to shoot some really neat ferns I spotted but just TOO much rain to deal with…I can handle a light drizzle but NOT this heavy stuff.

So beautifully lush; this draws me outdoors even as I view from inside. Illustrative yet representational; a wonderful mix of reality and imagination. “If only it would stop raining!” 🙂
Thanks April, we spent a few hours in our neighbors basement last night when a REALLY SCARY storm went through, lots of hail, wind, rain and lightning but NO tornado…this tree has a few less leaves today and the house is still standing.
