
Glowing Pines - IR, D200
This is my first post on my NEW Photo Blog. Took this image back in February on a infrared shooting trip to Kings Gap. Still trying to learn to see in infrared…
I thought the pines in in the late afternoon might be good for some glowing greens in IR. Did a little post processing in Photoshop CS3 to add some glowing rays to the trees. I kind of like it. We will have some more IR shots to come later…
I like it. It’s fun to get the updates and comments on a blog.
It’s almost as if a bomb just went off behind a wall of trees. A very active photo.
There is a sense of motion created as the light pierces the trees. The image offers a great deal of information were I find myself examining all four corners of the work so as not to miss anything. Very interesting.
