I shot this tree in the yard at home after a rainstorm one evening with a slow shutter speed and some camera motion. Post processing in CS5 with the addition of a slight texture using Flypaper Textures.

Porch Gecko

There were quite a few geckos around the house. I chased this guy around the porch one afternoon, he was pretty co-operative once he figured out I wasn’t going to hurt him. Never once tried to sell me any insurance…I updated this image with an edited one taking out the white corner that was in the lower left, works better for me now…

OK, so it wasn’t midnight when this guy was trimming the trees next door. These guys were up and down the trees in a hurry, simply amazing, really hard workers! I intentionally shot this as a silhouette and did some additional darkening and toning in CS5.
