Red Trains - D700, 70-200mm

I know, the title says Apples, Trains & Raindrops and I start the post with a train photo…just wanted to see if you were paying attention. You will get your apples later, really. Yellow Train at Sunset - D700, 70-200mm

The sun was going down fast and this shot was almost right into it…had to add a small gobo to keep the lens flair out, Yes, I had my lens hood on…still wasn’t enough. Processed this in Topaz Simplify and let the “yellow” take over. Warm enough for you!

Raindrops on Chair - D700, 70-200mm

The next two images were shot on the lower porch of the Mt. Washington Hotel, a good place to be when it’s raining…

Red Roof in Rain - D700, 14-24mm

And finally you get the apples…shot this when we stopped at a roadside stand selling apples. Just a quick grab shot, the light was interesting and the apples looked good so I snapped a shot and processed it as a single image in Nik HDR Pro and finished it off in CS5 with Tonal Contrast and Glamour Glow. Don’t you just want to pick one off the screen and take a bite?
