Magnolia & Spanish Moss - D200, IR converted, 18-35mm

It was pretty cloudy today, NOT a good pool or beach day so we went for a bike ride in the morning. Not the normal IR kind of day, big white puffy clouds and hard light, but I took the IR camera anyway to see what I could find. Along the road I spotted this magnolia and some Spanish moss…parked the bike on the roadside and looked for a composition. Turned out better than I expected. Further down the road was an inlet with some tree reflections in the water. Something a little different…

Also on the same road was a boat dock so we pulled in to look around. As I was framing up the dock a young man walked up and started to put the chain up in front of me. So I included him in the frame and snapped a few. Met his mother and got her to send me her email so I could send her copies of the photos…hope she likes them, I think it came out pretty good.
