Easter at Longwood

Harp Music at Longwood

Harp Music at Longwood - D200 IR converted, Sigma 10-20

We spent Easter at Longwood Gardens this year, a very nice day. Quite a few more people than we usually see when we go on a weekday… Of course I took a camera but not what you might think. I decided to take just my D200 IR converted body and just two lenses. Mainly used my Sigma 10-20mm since we were in pretty tight surroundings. I figured that the crowds would be pretty large and the light not so great in the middle of the day, it turned out to beĀ  just the ticket…

This is a shot of the harp player in the main atrium surrounded by people with cameras…me being one of them. I went around the other side of the lady playing the harp and shot through a doorway to get this image. I’ll have a few more IR images from Longwood coming later this week…click on the image to view a little larger.
