My wife held each cat separately using a black backdrop cloth. Then I just did some simple work in Photoshop to combine the shots that worked. NOT as easy as it sounds, we’re working with live kittens here with needle sharp claws…getting them half awake always helps.
Just keeping the antlers in place is a challenge….believe me, I’ve tried. What type of lighting did you use? Their eyes are perfect! I have to get busy on my holiday cat photos, too …. oooh, my cats hate playing dress up! 🙂
Hi, Betsy. The antlers did NOT stay in place for long…as for the lighting, I think it was one off camera flash shot through a 34″ translucent umbrella.
